This Tiramisu French Toast combines the creamy, coffee-infused flavors of classic tiramisu with the warm comfort of French toast. Perfect for weekend brunch or a sweet breakfast surprise.
Ingredients
4 slices brioche bread
2 eggs
1/2 cup whole milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp instant espresso powder
1/4 cup mascarpone cheese
1 tbsp powdered sugar
1/2 cup whipped cream
1/2 tsp cocoa powder (for dusting)
Butter (for pan)
Instructions
1. In a shallow bowl, whisk eggs, milk, vanilla, and espresso powder until fully combined.
2. Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat.
3. Dip each slice of brioche in the mixture and let soak for 15 seconds on each side.
4. Cook soaked bread for 2–3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
5. Mix mascarpone with powdered sugar until smooth.
6. Spread mascarpone mixture on each slice of French toast.
7. Top with whipped cream and dust with cocoa powder.
8. Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
Use day-old brioche for better absorption.
You can replace mascarpone with cream cheese if unavailable.
Add a splash of coffee liqueur to the egg mixture for an adult twist.
