Mug Cookie Success Guide
The Right Mug: Use a large, microwave-safe mug or ramekin—the cookie rises significantly! A short, wide, heavy ceramic mug (no metal accents) ensures even cooking and prevents messy overflow.
Perfect Measurements: For a soft, not dry, cookie, spoon flour into your measuring spoon and level it with a knife. Avoid scooping directly from the bag to prevent over-packing.
Microwave Wisdom: All microwaves vary. Start checking at 45 seconds and do not exceed 1 minute to avoid overcooking. Watch for it to rise and set on top.
Flavor & Toppings: Pure vanilla extract makes a noticeable difference. Serve warm with ice cream, whipped cream, or a drizzle of chocolate or caramel for the ultimate treat.
