Ingredients
4 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons sugar
½ tablespoon cocoa powder
⅛ teaspoon baking powder
Wet ingredients :
3 tablespoons milk
¼ tablespoon vinegar
½ tablespoon vegetable oil
2 drops red gel food color
Instructions
1. In a medium bowl, mix all the dry ingredients together with a whisk. Add all the wet ingredients including the food coloring and mix well to combine. Adding 2 drops of red food coloring to red velvet mug cake batter
2. Divide the batter into two small microwave-safe mugs and microwave for 1 minute each. Pouring red velvet cake batter into a mug
3. Once done, test the mug cake with toothpick for doneness. Let the mug cake cool for 10 minutes. Optional: scoop out a little bit of cake from the top to use as garnish on top of whipped cream. Top with whipped cream, garnish with cake bits, and enjoy.
