There’s something about peaches in summer that feels like pure comfort. Juicy, fragrant, and naturally sweet, they don’t need much help to shine. When the weather is warm and turning on the oven feels like too much, these No-Bake Peaches & Cream Parfait Cups are exactly the kind of dessert I reach for—simple, creamy, and layered with texture.
This version is inspired by classic peaches and cream, but with a small twist. Instead of plain whipped cream, I blend whipping cream with cream cheese for a slightly tangy, richer flavor that balances beautifully with the fruit. No refined sugar, minimal prep, and just enough elegance to make them feel special—whether you’re serving guests or treating yourself.

Why You’ll Love These Peaches & Cream Parfaits
- No-bake and easy – perfect for hot days
- Naturally sweetened with fruit and maple syrup
- Creamy, light, and refreshing
- Great for parties, garden gatherings, or summer desserts
- Can easily be adapted for breakfast or brunch
What Is a Parfait?
Traditionally, French parfaits were frozen custard-style desserts made with cream, eggs, and sugar, sliced and served with toppings. The American-style parfait most of us know today is very different—layered desserts served in glasses or bowls with fruit, cream, granola, or cookies.
This recipe follows that American-style parfait, built in layers and meant to be enjoyed right away while everything is fresh and creamy.
My Take on a Peaches & Cream Parfait
This parfait keeps things simple and flexible. Ripe peaches bring all the sweetness you need, while a small amount of maple syrup ties everything together without overpowering the fruit. The granola adds crunch, and the cream-cheese-infused whipped cream makes each bite feel indulgent but still light.
If you’d like to turn this into a breakfast parfait, you can easily swap the cream mixture for Greek yogurt and keep the rest the same.
When to Serve Peaches & Cream Parfait Cups
- As a summer dessert
- For parties or potlucks (they’re easy to prep and assemble)
- At garden parties or brunches
- As a light, elegant make-ahead dessert
Ingredients You’ll Need
Fresh Peaches
Ripe, juicy peaches are the star. Fresh works best, but canned peaches can be used if needed.
Granola
Use any granola you love. A variety with nuts or seeds adds extra texture. Choose one without refined sugar if possible.
Whipping Cream
Carton whipping cream that you whip at home gives the best texture, but pre-whipped cream works in a pinch.
Cream Cheese
Adds richness and a subtle tang that balances the sweetness.
Maple Syrup
Adjust to taste, depending on how sweet your peaches are. Honey works too.
Lemon Zest
Adds a fresh, bright note that keeps the cream mixture from feeling heavy.
Vanilla Extract
Rounds out the flavors and adds warmth.
How to Make No-Bake Peaches & Cream Parfait Cups
Prepare the Cream Mixture
In a mixing bowl, add:
- whipping cream
- cream cheese
- maple syrup
- vanilla extract
- lemon zest
Whisk until light and fluffy. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes so it firms up slightly.
Assemble the Parfaits
- Slice or chop the peaches just before assembling to prevent browning.
- Divide the peaches evenly (one peach per serving works well).
- In serving glasses or bowls, layer:
- peaches
- cream mixture
- more peaches
- a sprinkle of granola
- another layer of cream
- Finish with remaining peaches and a final sprinkle of granola.
Serve immediately.
Tips for the Best Parfaits
- Use ripe peaches for the best flavor and sweetness.
- Chill the cream mixture before assembling—it helps the layers hold their shape.
- If your granola doesn’t include nuts or seeds, feel free to add some on top.
- Cut peaches right before serving to keep them looking fresh and vibrant.
- Want it lighter? Use only whipped cream and skip the cream cheese.

Description
Peaches & Cream Parfait is an easy to make, delicious dessert without any refined sugar. I have mixed fresh whipping cream and cream cheese to give the classic dessert a slightly different flavour.
Ingredients
4 peaches ripe
½ cup granola
¾ cup fresh cream
¼ cup cream cheese
1 tsp lemon zest
4 tbsp maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla
extra maple syrup optional
Instructions
PREPARE THE CREAM MIXTURE
1. Add whipping cream, cream cheese, maple syrup, vanilla extract and lemon zest in a mixing bowl.
2. Whisk the mixture till it becomes light and fluffy.
3. Cover the bowl with a lid or cling film and chill the cream mixture for at least 30 minutes.
PREPARE THE PEACHES & CREAM PARFAIT
1. Take 4 glasses or bowls.
2. Cut the peaches into slices or chunks. I kept all 4 separate as one peach is for each serving.
3. Take the cream mixture out of the fridge.
4. First, add a few chunks or slices at the bottom of the glasses.
5. Top with some cream mixture. I roughly divided the cream mixture into 8 parts. Add one part each in the glasses or bowls.
6. Add more peach chunks or slices.
7. Sprinkle about 1 tablespoon each of granola.
8. Add cream mixture, 1 part each.
9. Top with remaining peach slices or chunks.
10. Sprinkle some granola.
11. Peaches and cream parfaits are ready for serving.
Notes
Add seeds and nuts if your granola doesn’t have any.
Can use fresh cream only if you want to.
I have not tried this dessert with canned peaches.
Cut the peaches just before serving as they can turn brown if left for long.
